Our Vision and Goals
Our work is built around three core pillars: innovation, education and collaboration.
Innovation: By bringing together academia and industry through collaborative projects, we create an environment where innovative solutions for the chemical industry can emerge and contribute to the region’s role as a centre for chemical innovation.
Education: We are committed to supporting the next generation of professionals in the chemical sciences. Students are actively involved in our projects, gaining practical training and hands-on experience that prepares them for future challenges in industry and research.
Collaboration: Our work is built on strong partnerships with industry leaders, private collaborators and students. Together, we foster a collaborative environment where knowledge sharing, combined expertise and open innovation can thrive. We welcome everyone interested in contributing to join us in shaping the future of the chemical industry.
Our association is driven by a set of core goals that support and reinforce our vision.
Development of new or improved process equipment: We strive to push the boundaries of process engineering by conceptualizing, designing, and refining innovative process equipment. Through continuous research and development, we aim to revolutionize industrial processes, enhancing efficiency and sustainability.
Evaluation of new or imporved process equipment in miniplant scale: At Miniplant 4.0, we understand the importance of thorough evaluation and rigorous testing. We provide a state-of-the-art facility for the assessment and characterization of new prototypes at the miniplant scale. This enables us to gather invaluable data and insights, facilitating informed decision-making in process development.
Process development based on new prototypes: Armed with the knowledge and expertise acquired through prototype evaluation, we are dedicated to advancing process development. We collaborate with industry partners to translate innovative concepts into practical applications, ensuring seamless integration into real-world operations.
